As a Senior Associate Attorney at Mercer & Company, Jeffrey leverages his extensive experience to deliver tailored legal solutions that align with clients’ strategic objectives.
His expertise encompasses both litigation and non-litigation services, ensuring comprehensive support for diverse legal needs.
In his role at Mercer & Company, Jeffrey excels in preparing and drafting crucial legal documents, conducting comprehensive due diligence, and advising on complex transactions. His practice spans numerous sectors, ensuring clients receive strategic and informed legal advice.
Jeffrey’s commitment to public service is demonstrated by his previous position as Special Assistant to the Deputy Minister of Energy. In this role, he played a coordinating role in the establishment of the Energy Sector CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team) machinery and provided legal and technical support for the Project’s Implementation Committee. He has also served on the team of legal advisors to various energy infrastructure projects in Ghana, contributing significantly to national energy strategies.
Additionally, he also served as a Steering Team Member of Ghana’s National Energy Transition Secretariat which was responsible for initiating the drafting of Ghana’s Energy Transition Plan.
Earlier in his career, Jeffrey served as a Volunteer Public Defender, advocating for underrepresented individuals and ensuring access to justice. This role honed his skills in advocacy and criminal defence.
Jeffrey is passionate about legal and professional education. He actively contributes to the ALL THE WAY UP Podcast, engaging in discussions on contemporary legal issues and sharing insights into the legal profession, thus fostering knowledge and development within the legal community.
